:: Bright Branches & Beer Bottles

Makes you feel 5 lbs heavier when you say it out loud. Especially when you let the B's run free as B's were meant, well, to be.

Welcome to Nelson. Good place to go. Fun hill.Amy Knows once the pizza's cut,The hounds move in.
Those scurvy dogs.

Thanks so much A&W for the hospitality and delicious food. Wait, hmmmm... Will and Amy, not the burger joint.

Overnight greyhounds were a reasonable way to travel.

But back home I go.
Alan food is cranberry beget with oregano, tom and ched. Salad to come.Day in and day out it feels like everything is just salad & bills.
Another misty morning where everything thin freezes. Maybe the trees caught the snow before it could hit the ground? Nah, the trees just grabbed the crystals out of thin air and made coats of them.I'm riding and shooting right now. Jet. Roads are dry and she's sooo smooth. I knew the car was coming and was worried it would ruin the shot. I think it actually added some size and movement. So yeah, that's how I feel. Ice Willows made from not Willows.

So let's get to some great beers I grabbed today. Hopefully great. As of writing this I've only had 2 of them and one I'm not going to show you. Friday I got totally ripped watching the Olympic opening ceremony while chatting with an old dude who could have passed for burt reynolds any day of the week. Hat, boots, and mustache. I've always been a sucker for Lagunitas since their imperial stout opened my eyes to a world of dark beer I've yet to retrun from. This was an ale that can knock your boots off. Always worth a go.
How could I not. This says L-Y all over it and it's from Japan. Maybe she is too. I wouldn't be surprised. Owls arn't even real. (wtf)Seriously though with a cap like this I have to try it at least once. If just for the cap.

I've had this before and enjoyed it well enough. I wanted to have this bottle in my fridge at least once more before I move on.

If a bottle like this doesn't make you wonder what's inside. You don't like beer. If you don't like this beer that's fine. It's pretty strong. But you should try it.

I didn't end up going to fish creek. Things were already melting off and I had gone for a jog earlier in the morning. My first for a while too. So I updated my blog instead and took what shots I could on my way back from collecting alcohol and fish and lots of espresso.

I had too much chinese food last night.

mmmmmm
