:: Calcity, The Core

This is a view of downtown Calgary looking south. There is a nice escarpment north of downtown that is home to many dog walkers and joggers. I got this shot real quick before throwing a mirror on wall in the house behind me.
This is the new pair of headphones I bought. They're specially designed for DJ's and have one of those curly cords. The cord ended up being the straw that broke my wallets back. I'm very happy with how they sound too.

Things right now are shaky and suck. Somethings wrong with me. So I let them stick me with a needle and I pee'd in a cup for them. Not at the same time though... too messy. Next week the results will be in. I have my money on stress induced kidney failure but mono relapse has the best odds. oh well. Everyday ends.

:: The Kitchen is Fully Operational

...but it can't blow up Alderaan. It can clean a small amount of their dishes now though. Also has a mean capability to make noodles and fried veges. Here's some pics.
Hmmmmm... My tape measure is a liar.
That's much better. It doesn't even leak! (...anymore. I forgot to seal one joint but it's okay now.)
Island. A fair to poor movie but a great place to eat.
Action shot of a kitchen... in action.
Recognize these pictures? One is the best girl ever (avec tail[sans even]), the other just a kick ass pic from a kick ass fellow. Note the use of double brackets. Awesome.

My weekend began two beers ago. Have a good friday folks. Save your regrets for tomorrow or make some new ones tonight. Everyday ends.

:: Friday I'm in Love

There are three deer in this picture.... can you spot them? (hint: ones mid-jump)
The Mountain to the left is called the Three Sisters. The one on the right is up for dibs.
This is where the next two cretin's hung a few mirrors in Canmore. We waited to get into the suite longer than it took us to do the work. But the super in charge is cuuuuute. Goodstuff.
This is my joker of partner when I have work that requires more than one set of hands. He's a nice guy named Dave. I made him drive us home because I was tired and wanted to take pictures.
This handsome devil is yours truly. If you get a new shower in Calgary and have the coin to afford the best darn custom glass shower enclosure installers to finish things off.... well, you might just be lucky enough to meet me. I'm very pleasant if I'm being paid to be there.

:: Faith

Sometimes all you need is a little faith. It goes great with 4 or 5 Guinness.

:: More, more, MORE!!

Old counter being modified
Sink counter needs a trim. Chop-saw lends a hand on this one.
Counter top. Note the drywalling in the background
Sorry about the size of the earlier pictures... I simply wasn't thinking.

:: Reno pics

This is the old bar, very bad on space and sink size.
This is just some of the mold and water damage. The bad spots were thick black sections....eww.
Work and ply all in the same day!
All mold has been eliminated. Time to rebuild an empire.... I mean kitchen.
Rough plan for the size of the island and sink counter. That island piece is the same one I'll later cut down and refinish.

:: The Reno (bum bum bummmmmm)

I started the reno last weekend and have continued it this weekend. This is the original bar area.

:: Banff

You heard me. I get to drive to Banff tomorrow to deliver some glass and clean it... can't be beat. And when I get back to the shop its free sausage and beer before the long weekend. I love what I do and it has made all the difference. By the by, this May 24 marks (about) a one year 180 flip in life. I had recently left school and was working at my old job while living at home. Now I live across the country doing work I really enjoy and get to spend time on becoming someone I enjoy to be. It's really something what giving up completely can do. Oh well, it's all good. Everyday ends.
