I'm going to try for a bit to eat/use one bulb of garlic per week. I think the trick might be to roast some and make garlic butter and pre-pay a bulb or two. Pretty much a win-win situation no matter how this goes.
Food tonight.
Roasted chicken breast crusted with my go-to mix* and rosemary. Also some egg noodles with a sauce I invented. Red onion, mushrooms, garlic, and cream cheese. Nothing but flavor. Also I had some ceasar salad with mush, celery, grn oni, broccoli but what you see in the pic is only there for some colour. I actually ate my salad before the rest was ready. I couldn't help it.
In retrospect the sauce could have used a bit of heavy cream to thin and smooth it out. The taste was a success but the texture could be improved.
Oh and the pasta and salad had fresh minced Parmigiano Reggiano on them.... and then I had two vanilla yogurts for desert.....
and then a fork full of peanut butter later to finish. Gourmet.
Here's some drink I've had before and again. Still really enjoyable. Love this mug too.
And because some shit is just unreal. Me and my partner are chilling outside a house for a job. Got there a few minutes early. As soon as we pull up a Lassie dog starts barking at us through a window across the street. Quickly after this another joins it, we laugh "Whoa, that dog just duplicated." We make a joke or two and wonder if another would appear just to seal the deal and freak us out. So one more does. We can't believe it. We laugh and joke and move around trying to make them all bark and jump at the window at us. I mention "I couldn't believe there was three. I hope there's another. That would be insane" Just a few minutes later of watching them bark another one walks up calmly on the left and stares right at us.
Hilarity ensues.
As we regain control and I grab my camera quickly, "If their living room begins to fill with lassies and break through the window onto the street you better fucking believe I'm getting it on video."
And then we installed a mirror. So it goes.
*go-to chicken mix: Cayenne, cumin, and curry. Of course it's good. Adjust heat through cayenne, sweetness through curry, awesome through cumin.
